My journey

I first discovered the power of nutrition over 20 years ago while working long hours in a demanding corporate role. Exhausted and stressed, I decided to follow personalised nutrition advice, and within just seven days, I felt like a new woman. The transformation in my energy, well-being, and performance was so profound that I left my successful career in 2006 to study nutrition at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition.

That decision led me to launch WellWellWell, my award-winning nutrition clinic, when I graduated in 2010. Ever since, I’ve been dedicated to helping busy women take control of their health with practical, evidence-based nutrition advice – without putting pressure on their overloaded schedules.


Beyond the clinic

Recognising how difficult it can be for women to access expert, evidence-based menopause advice, I launched The Happy Menopause podcast in 2019. With over 700,000 downloads, each monthly episode provides expert insights on everything from anxiety and low mood to managing sleep and weight gain.

My passion for making nutrition accessible also led me to write The Happy Menopause: Smart Nutrition to Help You Flourish, which offers symptom-by- symptom dietary advice. It was Highly Commended in the 2021 Health & Wellbeing Awards, The Happy Menopause Guide to Energy: Nutrition to Rejuvenate Your Brain & Body is a companion guide to this book. My other books, include Va Va Voom: The 10-Day Energy Diet and The Right Bite: Smart
Food Choices for Eating on the Go.

I also deliver workplace nutrition workshops, contribute to national media, and have featured as a guest expert on TV and radio, including Channel 4’s Superfoods.

I’m proud to be a Fellow of the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and was Chair of Trustees for 11 years. In 2021, I was also admitted as a Fellow of BANT for my contributions to nutritional therapy. I am a member of the British Menopause Society and continuously update my knowledge through regular Continuing Professional Development.
